Caught in the cycle (culture) inherited schemas, models
losing myself. Escape from the attractor of conformity – a “snap” (build up of bottled authenticity) with an explosive trajectory, a hunger for meaning, depth, mystery, truth
insatiable, self-propelling away away away, Ehrenfest’s (fictionalized) “waking up” or “landing” to realize nothing will make sense.
But, as much as it shattered me to see myself in that chapter, I hold onto the glimmer of hope that I was seeing a whole – impossible to capture in words or maybe even equations – but that it’s not for nothing.
